launched L.A.’s Green New Deal to set aggressive goals for the city’s sustainable
future, strengthen the L.A. economy for everyone, and set L.A. on course to be
carbon neutral by 2050. The new targets include:
100% renewable energy by 2045
100% net-zero carbon buildings by 2050
100% zero emission vehicles in the city by 2050
100% landfill diversion rate by 2050
100% of our waste water recycled by 2035
