Announced last November by President Barack Obama and President Xi Jinping in the historic
U.S.-China Joint Announcement on Climate Change, the U.S.-China Climate Leaders Summit is
a celebration of ambitious action and constructive cooperation on climate change and clean
energy at the city and state levels. The Summit will take place one week before President Xi’s
State Visit to Washington, D.C. to highlight the concrete progress our communities are making
together before the two presidents meet.
