Sports in the Los Angeles Basin
The Los Angeles Basin (comprised of Los Angeles and Orange counties) is one of the two largest markets for collegiate and professional sports in the United States. The partnership between the LAEDC and the Los Angeles Sports Council (LASC) quantifies the importance of sports to the Greater Los Angeles Region.
